I think I got this recipe from The Maker's Diet by Jordan Rubin. It's pretty good and it is raw, but with the honey it is not vegan. You could always substitute sweeteners to make it vegan. Ingredients:
1 cup extra virgin coconut oil |
3/4 cup carob powder |
1/4 cup raw almonds |
1/4 cup honey |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. This bark is made in a bowl sitting in a hot water bath. 2. To do this, fill a large bowl half way or so with very hot water. 3. Place your mixing bowl in the hot water. 4. Add the coconut oil, as it melts, add in all of the other ingredients. 5. Mix until blended. 6. Pour into an oiled pan and let cool. 7. Break into pieces and enjoy. |
