Ingredients:
2 large red apples |
1 lemon, juice of |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1/4 cup sliced sweet gherkin |
1 tablespoon capers |
1/4 cup sliced ripe olives |
1/2 cup low-fat french dressing |
Directions:
1. Core apples; do not peel. 2. Cut crosswise into 1/2 slices, then into 1/2 chunks. 3. Sprinkle with lemon juice. 4. Add remaining ingredients; toss to mix well. 5. Great with roast pork, pork chops, baked ham or ham slices, or smoked pork butt. |
