This is such a great recipe for in the fall. After going apple picking we always come home and bake! This is one of the recipes we make year after year. This is so good slightly warm with butter.....yum. Ingredients:
1/2 cup oil |
2 eggs |
1 cup sugar |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1 1/2 cups diced peeled apples |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Mix first three ingredients together. 2. Add remaining ingredients and mix. 3. Turn into greased and floured 8x4 loaf pan. 4. Bake at 300 for 1 1/2 hours. 5. Cool 10 minutes. 6. Remove from pan. 7. Cool on rack 10 minutes. 8. Wrap in foil while still warm. |
