Another family favourite. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 onion, chopped |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
1 teaspoon dried basil |
1 (28 ounce) can plum tomatoes |
1 tablespoon tomato paste |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1 lb frozen cheese ravioli or 1 lb meat ravioli |
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese |
1 cup grated colby cheese |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in large saucepan. 2. Add onion, garlic and basil. 3. Cook gently until tender, about 2-3 minutes. 4. Add plum tomatoes, paste, salt, pepper, dry mustard, hot pepper sauce and sugar. 5. Simmer for 5-10 minutes. 6. Add frozen ravioli and cook another 10 minutes. 7. Mix with cheeses and put into casserole. 8. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until hot& bubbly. |
