Raspberry Stuffed French Toast |

I love the recipes that I find from different B&B's across the USA... and hopefully some of you will get to stay at the inns..this recipe is from the Deacon Timothy Pratt Bed and Breakfast Inn c.1746 325 Main Street Old Saybrook, Connecticut 06475 Ingredients:
12 oz cream cheese |
1/4 cup raspberry jam |
8 eggs |
1/4 cup milk |
2 tsp. vanilla |
1 tsp. nutmeg |
french bread sliced with slits for stuffing |
Directions:
1. Blend cream cheese and raspberries until fluffy. In mixing bowl whip eggs and next 3 ingredients until smooth. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly between bread and dip in egg mixture. Cook on hot griddle turning when golden brown. Serve with warm maple syrup. Garnish with fresh raspberries and confectionary sugar. |
