Imagine the essence of raspberries in liquid form, and you've got the idea behind this syrup. It's great stirred into our Italian Raspberry Cocktail or into plain club soda. Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar |
1 1/2 cups raspberries (6 oz.) |
Directions:
1. Stir together sugar, 3/4 cup water, and the raspberries in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. When the first bubbles appear, reduce heat to medium-low and gently simmer 5 minutes. Let cool, then strain. Keeps up to 1 week, chilled. 2. Note: Nutritional analysis is per tbsp. |
