Cake mix hurries along the prep work for these yummy bars. Raspberry jam adds a pop of color and sweetness,and oats lend a homey touch. Ingredients:
1 pkg (18-1/4 oz) yellow cake mix |
2-1/2 c quick-cooking oats |
1 tbs water |
3/4 c butter,melted |
1 jar (12 oz.) seedless raspberry preserves |
Directions:
1. In large bowl,combine dry cake mix,oats and butter until crumbly. Press 3 cups of mixture into greased 9x13 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 mins. Cool on wire rack for 5 mins. 2. In small bowl,stir preserves and water till blended. spread over crust. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake for 25-28 mins. or till lightly browned. Cool on wire rack. Cut into bars. |
