Oatmeal with raspberries, maple syrup, flax and almond butter topped with a generous serving of soy milk. Ingredients:
1 c rolled oats |
1/2 c frozen raspberries |
2 tbsp flax |
2 tbsp almond butter |
3 tbsp maple syrup |
2 1/2 c soy milk |
1/8 tsp cloves |
1/4 tsp nutmeg |
1/4 tsp cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Place oats, raspberries, 1 1/2 c soymilk, 1 c water and spices in a heavy saucepan over med-high heat. Bring to a boil and turn heat down to low. Cover and cook, stirring periodically for 14-15 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup and Flax. Serve with Almond Butter, Extra Maple Syrup and Soy Milk on the side. |
