Raspberry Mousse Tart For Valentines Day |

An easy and quick decadent dessert for any special occassion. Ingredients:
2 cups graham cracker crumbs |
1/4 cup sugar |
6 tablespoons melted unsalted butter |
1/2 cup boiling water 1, 3 ounce package raspberry-flavored gelatin |
1 10 ounce package frozen whole red raspberries,in syrup,thawed(bird's eye) |
1 16 ounce container frozen non-dairy whipped topping/thawed |
garnish:whipped topping,fresh raspberries |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl,combine graham cracker crumbs and sugar. 2. Add melted butter,stirring to combine. 3. Press mixture into bottom and up sides of a 9X1 1/2inch removable-bottom round tart pan 4. Chill for at least 10 minutes. 5. In a separate medium bowl,combine boiling water and gelatin,whisking until the gelatin is dissolved. 6. Add thawed raspberries,stirring to combine. 7. Let cool at room temperature. 8. Stir in whipped topping. 9. Spoon it into prepared tart pan. 10. Chill for at least 4 hours. 11. Just before serving,pipe whipped topping onto tart,if desired. 12. Garnish with some fresh raspberries. 13. Serve immediately. |
