Quench your thirst on a hot summer day with this sweet, delicious iced drink. Swap berries. Use blueberries or strawberries instead of raspberries. I have not tried this recipe. I'm posting this for safe keeping. I found this recipe in All You magazine. Cost per serving .69 cents. Ingredients:
2 cups fresh raspberries or 2 cups frozen raspberries |
12 ounces frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed |
1 lemon, sliced (optional) |
Directions:
1. Pour 2 cups cups cold water into a blender and add half of raspberries. 2. Blend until smooth, then pour puree through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher (discard seeds). 3. Add 4 more cups cold water, remaining raspberries and lemonade concentrate to raspberry puree. 4. Mix well and pour over ice. 5. Garnish with lemon slices, if desired. |
