rangpur: hybrid between mandarin orange and lemon having very acid fruit with orange peel , these I brought home as my friend in Florida, grows them in his back yard! Ingredients:
1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained |
1 garlic clove, fresh |
4 roasted garlic cloves |
olive oil to taste- i used about 1/4 cup |
rangpur lime juice to taste ( or other limes), i used 1 tbs to start with |
curry powder to taste |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Using a high speed blender place the chickpeas, olive oil, lime juice , fresh and roasted garlic, curry powder to taste and blend until smooth and creamy. 2. Season to taste and add more olive oil and or lime juice to get the texture you like 3. Makes a good dish full for about 6 serving. |
