Ingredients:
1 pound ground round |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1/3 cup crushed baked tortilla chips |
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 garlic clove, minced |
cooking spray |
1 cup fat-free refried beans |
4 teaspoons light mayonnaise |
4 (1.6-ounce) light wheat hamburger buns, toasted |
1/2 cup shredded iceberg lettuce |
1/2 cup bottled thick and chunky salsa |
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients. Divide into 4 equal portions; shape each into a 1/2- inch-thick patty. 2. Prepare grill. 3. Place patties on a grill rack coated with cooking spray, and grill 6 minutes. Carefully turn patties over, and grill 6 to 7 minutes or until done. 4. Microwave beans in a small bowl at HIGH 1 minute or until warm, stirring after 30 seconds. 5. Spread mayonnaise evenly over bottom halves of buns. Top each with 2 tablespoons lettuce, a burger patty, 1/4 cup beans, and 2 tablespoons salsa. Place top halves of buns on each burger. |
