These look very good. Recipe is from Simple and Delicious. Update 3/21/09: I've made these recently and I think I will use only half of the ranch dressing mix the next time because I felt it was a little too strong. I will leave the original recipe as is, though. Ingredients:
7 medium potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch cubes |
1/4 cup butter, cubed |
1 cup sour cream |
1 (1 ounce) envelope ranch dressing mix |
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Place potatoes in a greased 11-inch by 7-inch baking dish; dot with butter. 2. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 60-65 minutes or until tender. 3. Combine sour cream and salad dressing mix; spoon over potatoes. 4. Sprinkle with cheese. 5. Bake, uncovered, for 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted. |
