Creamy and satisfying macaroni and cheese, which has a special twist. I have not tried this just posting this for safe keeping. Ingredients:
16 ounces elbow macaroni |
1 cup milk |
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine |
2 ounces ranch salad dressing mix (2 envelopes) |
1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning |
1 teaspoon garlic herb seasoning |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 cup cubed colby cheese |
1 cup cubed monterey jack cheese |
1 cup sour cream (8oz) |
1/2 cup crushed saltine (15 crackers) |
grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven, combine the next eight ingredients. Cook and stir over medium heat until cheese is melted and mixture begins to thicken. 2. Reduce heat; stir in the sour cream. Drain macaroni; add the macaroni and cracker crumbs to cheese sauce. Cook until heated through, stirring frequently. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. |
