I came up with this recipe after falling in love with a local Mexican restaurant's garlic butter dip that they serve with their grilled chicken. It took several tries to figure out what the missing ingredient was. This is pretty close. It would be good with steak, shrimp, or veggies too. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened |
1/2 teaspoon canola oil |
1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic (not garlic salt) |
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes |
1 1/2 teaspoons ranch fat free dip mix |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together and heat on stove or in microwave just until butter or margarine completely melts. Stir well and serve hot as a dip for chicken, steak, shrimp, or veggies. |
