This recipe is from TOH's magazine, Simple and Delicious. It is quick, easy and colorful. Great one dish meal. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 1/2 cups sliced carrots, fresh |
3/4 cup onion, sliced |
1 cup water |
1 cup cabbage, shredded |
1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced |
1 cup green pepper, chopped |
3 tablespoons soy sauce |
3 ounces beef-flavor ramen noodles |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, cook beef, onions, and carrots over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and carrots are crisp-tender; drain. 2. Add the water, cabbage, mushrooms, green pepper, soy sauce and the contents of seasoning packet from the noodles. Break noodles into small pieces; add to pan. Cover and cook 10 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and noodles are tender. |
