This recipe is a favorite at my parties. I can never make enough of them.
Ingredients:
9 slices bacon, cut in half
9 water chestnuts, halved
9 chicken livers, halved
--marinade
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 oz. bourbon
Directions:
1. Wrap a piece of water chestnut and a half of chicken liver together in a strip of bacon. Fasten with a toothpick.
2. Marinate in soy sauce mixture for 6 hours.
3. Drain, and place on foil.
4. Broil until bacon is crisp, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
