This recipe is a favorite at my parties. I can never make enough of them. Ingredients:
9 slices bacon, cut in half |
9 water chestnuts, halved |
9 chicken livers, halved |
--marinade |
1/4 cup soy sauce |
2 tbsp. brown sugar |
1 oz. bourbon |
Directions:
1. Wrap a piece of water chestnut and a half of chicken liver together in a strip of bacon. Fasten with a toothpick. 2. Marinate in soy sauce mixture for 6 hours. 3. Drain, and place on foil. 4. Broil until bacon is crisp, about 3-4 minutes on each side. |
