very easy. much better than store bought. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour |
4 cups all-purpose flour |
2 tablespoons baking powder |
2 teaspoons salt |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
3 cups milk or 3 cups buttermilk |
2 eggs, beaten |
4 cups raisins, floured |
Directions:
1. sift together dry ingredients. 2. add milk, eggs and raisins. 3. pour into 3 well greased loaf pans. Let stand 15 minutes. 4. Bake 350 degrees F for 35 - 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. |
