1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 cup shortening |
1/4 teaspoon butter flavoring |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda |
2 cups water |
3 cups flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 1/2 cups raisins |
1/2 cup nuts |
1/4 teaspoon black walnut flavoring |
Directions:
1. cover raisins with water simmer 2. measure out 1 cup of raisin water 3. sift dry ingredients together 4. creeam shortening and sugar 5. add flavorings if you have them add eggs 6. add raisin liquid 7. add dry ingredients 8. add cooked raisins and nuts 9. spread 1/2 inch on cookie sheet bake 350 for 30 minutes 10. in guessing that she made a cream frosting for these but its not on a very sketchy recipe. |
