This dish is popular in kerala state.Puttu is made with rice flour,finger millet...It is a common b'fast in kerala&done by steaming process....
Ingredients:
ragi or finger millet flour-2 c
grated coconut -1 c
salt a pinch
warm water as required
Directions:
1. To the flour,add a pinch of salt
2. Add water little by little and mix it
3. The flour should be wet enough for steaming
4. Add coconuts to the mixture
5. Steam cook it in puttu maker..
6. Can be served with steamed plantains or bananas
