Kinda different but kinda fun! Double the recipe for a 9x13 pan. Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter |
1 1/2 cups brown sugar, divided |
1 cup flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt, -divided |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup rice krispies |
1 cup nuts |
1 cup shredded coconut |
Directions:
1. Cream together 1/4 c butter and 1/2 c brown sugar. Add 1 c flour and 1/4 tsp salt. 2. Press mixture into a 9x9 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Set aside. 3. Beat eggs until fluffy and then beat in 1 c brown sugar, vanilla and 1/4 tsp salt. Stir in Rice Krispies, coconut and nuts. 4. Place on top of baked layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. |
