Rachaels Southern Style Okra And Tomatoes |

I had this for lunch yesterday at my neighbors house.... All we had to go with it was corn bread... It was wonderful.....You have to try this... Ingredients:
1 pound cut okra, fresh or frozen |
1 large can diced italian tomatoes |
1 small can diced italian tomatoes |
1 small can tomato sauce |
1/2 to 1 can rotel tomatoes (depending on your taste for hot) |
1 pound hamburger, cook and drained |
worcestershire sauce, several shakes |
heintz 57 sauce, 1/2 cup to a cup (depending on your taste) |
salt and pepper to taste |
greek seasoning to taste |
onion powder to taste |
garlic powder to taste |
season all to taste |
mrs dash to taste |
Directions:
1. Cook and drain hamburger, season with onion and garlic powder while cooking. 2. In a large dutch oven place okra and tomatoes, rotel and rest of seasonings and sauces into pan; bring to a boil 3. Add hamburger and cook for about 30 to 40 minutes on low. 4. Stir occasionally to keep okra from sticking. 5. Serve with cornbread. |
