i just put a couple things together that sounded tasty and it turned out really good:) Ingredients:
(quinoa) |
1 cup quinoa (un-cooked) |
1 1/2 cups cold water |
1/2 tsp salt |
cooked quinoa |
1 cup peas |
3/4 cup raisins |
2/3 cup feta cheese |
1/2 cup of nut of your choice (optional) |
1/2 cup olive oil (more or less) |
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar (more or less) |
Directions:
1. (instructions to cook quinoa) 2. put quinoa into a pot 3. add water,bring to a boil,then cover with a tight fitting lid,then turn heat down to a simmer,cook for 15 min. then take off of heat and let sit covered for five min.,then uncover and let sit for 10-20 min in fridge 4. - 5. afte quinoa is cold down.... 6. add peas 7. add raisins 8. add the optional nuts 9. add feta 10. add olive oil and balsamic vinegar 11. (salt and pepper,optional) |
