A delicious and quick version of the popular tea enjoyed in Thailand. (This recipe is from the cookbook How It All Vegan .) Ingredients:
2 cups water |
1/4 teaspoon dried cardamom |
2 -4 tablespoons artificial sweetener |
1/2 cup soymilk |
2 tea bags (orange pekoe or peppermint) |
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, all water, cardamom, sweetener, and milk and bring to a boil. 2. Remove from heat and add tea bags. 3. Let steep 3-10 minutes before serving. |
