Quick way to please the kids. Ingredients:
1 lb italian sausage, casings removed |
1 (26 ounce) can spaghetti sauce |
3 cups uncooked campanella pasta, cooked according to package & keep warm |
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided |
Directions:
1. Cook sausage over medium high heat in a 10-inch skillet until crumbled and no longer pink; drain. 2. Blend in spaghetti sauce. 3. Simmer for 5 minutes. 4. Remove from pan; keep warm. 5. Place half of the cooked pasta in bottom of the skillet. 6. Pour half of sausage sauce mixture over pasta. 7. sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella cheese. 8. Top with remaining pasta, sausage sauce and mozzarella. 9. Cover and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes or until heat through and cheese is melted. 10. Remove from the heat and let it stand for about 1 minute before serving. |
