No candy thermometer required and in side by side taste tests with regular pralines, these always win. Ingredients:
1/4 cup water |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 cup light brown sugar |
1 cup confectioners' sugar |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
3/4 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. In medium saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil; stir in sugars. 2. Return to boiling; boil and stir for 1 minute. 3. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and pecans. 4. Beat until mixture thickens. 5. Immediately drop from teaspoon onto wax paper. 6. Cool. |
