This is a great dinner recipe if you don't have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen. I stock up on the ingredients because its so quick to assemble and tastes so great! Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey or 1 lb ground chicken |
1 tablespoon steak seasoning or 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning |
2 garlic cloves, diced |
1 (15 ounce) can chili beans |
1 (15 ounce) can black beans |
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes, of any flavor variation (e.g. fire roasted, with green chilies, plain) |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar |
1 (15 ounce) can water |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Brown ground meat in the olive oil in the bottom of a large pot with the garlic and seasoning about 5-6 minutes. 2. Add in the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes-1 hour. 3. Serve with a dollop of cream cheese or shredded chesse. |
