From the cookbook Mealleaniyumm by Norene Gillets. For those who would like to try something new to the matzos every Passover. Ingredients:
1 matzos |
2 -3 tablespoons tomato sauce |
3 tablespoons lowfat mozzarella cheese |
2 tablespoons red peppers |
2 tablespoons green peppers |
2 mushrooms, sliced |
4 slices tomatoes |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon basil |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 2. Line a baking sheet with foil; spray with non-stick spray. 3. Spread matzo with sauce. 4. Sprinkle with cheese, peppers and mushrooms. 5. Top with tomato slices; sprinkle with seasonings. 6. Bake for 10 minutes until cheese melts. |
