Quick, Low Fat Chocolate Chip Nut Cookies |

This is such a great, low fat cookie recipe without the butter or egg yolks. And, you can use whatever chips or nuts you like. Work with it. Wonderful for busy parents. Ingredients:
2 large egg whites |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/2 teaspoon almond extract |
1 cup chocolate chips (any chips you prefer!) |
1 cup chopped nuts (optional,of course) |
2/3 cup splenda sugar substitute or 2/3 cup sugar substitute |
1 dash salt |
Directions:
1. Beat egg whites until frothy; add salt and beat until stiffened. 2. Add in the sugar and beat until thickened. 3. Add almond and vanilla extracts and then nuts and chips. 4. Blend well. 5. Drop dough on to parchment-lined baking sheet. 6. Bake at 350°F. 7. Turn off heat and forget about them, take a nap and relax! 8. They will be ready to be gobbled up! |
