Quick Green Beans With Roasted Red Peppers

A stir fry type of green bean side. Easy I like using whole green beans unsnapped for a nicer presentation.
Ingredients:
1 lb fresh snapped and cleaned green beans or frozen will do in a pinch
cracked black pepper to taste
lemon pepper to taste or kosher salt (large pinch)
4-5 slices roasted red pepper pieces in olive oil (roughly 1/2 red pepper) or roast your own on the stovetop
4 tbl extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves diced garlic
1 medium onion (optional)
Directions:
1. Clean and snap the green beans (or use frozen and defrost in cold water and drain and dry do not use canned too mushy and salty)
2. Julienne roasted red pepper strips
3. dice garlic
4. slice onion in strips (optional)
5. heat oil to almost smoking in a large skillet
6. toss in onions cook 1 minute
7. toss in green beans and red peppers and garlic and cook 2 - 3 minutes stirring
8. add cracked black pepper and lemon pepper or salt
