Quick Great Northern Bean Soup W/ Kielbasa |

This is a great week night soup because it is so fast. We usually make it with cornbread. Ingredients:
2 (15 ounce) cans great northern beans, undrained |
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
1 lb kielbasa, polish sausage etc |
1 small onion, diced |
1 cup water |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 bay leaf |
Directions:
1. Cut sausage into bite sized peices. Put onion and sausage in large sauce pan over medium heat. Cook until heated through, about 5 minutes. 2. Add all other ingredients, bring to a boil. 3. Turn heat to low and simmer 20 minutes. 4. Remove bayleaf. |
