Goes great with most anything. Try substituting squash or zucchini for the beans. Ingredients:
4c fresh green beans |
4tblsp butter |
2tblsp fresh garlic |
2tblsp basil pesto |
dash salt |
1tsp fresh cracked black pepper |
Directions:
1. Wash, snap beans 2. Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat 3. Add beans, pesto, salt and pepper 4. Cook 2 min covered 5. Adjust to low heat 6. Add garlic 7. Cover allow to cook 10 min. or until beans are al dente 8. (if you like your beans softer, add half cup chicken stock and cook another 10-15 min.) |
