Quick Fix Cheddar Chicken Soup |

Very easy soup to throw together and it's comforting to eat when you're not feeling so great. Even better the next day reheated. Ingredients:
1 cup chopped celery |
1 small onion peeled and chopped |
1 stick of butter |
3 -10 oz cans of cream of chicken soup |
2 cups of precooked chicken shred (either leftover chicken or the tyson precooked chicken strips..even canned chicken will work just fine) |
3 cups of water |
2 tbsp worcestershire sauce |
1/2 cup of milk |
2 cups of sharp cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan saute celery and onion in the butter until tender. 2. Add in the shred chicken, soup, water and Worcestershire sauce. 3. Stir together and add in the milk and the cheddar cheese. 4. Depending on how thick you like your soup to be you may choose to add a bit more water OR a tad bit more milk (for an even creamier consistency). 5. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes. |
