Made this for some friends in the middle of the night - they couldn't believe I could whip up a midnight snack so quickly! Feel free to throw other veggies on top. The Bisquick dough doesn't make a true pizza crust - but it sure is satisfying. A quick fix! Ingredients:
3 cups bisquick baking mix |
1 cup milk |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or other type of cheese) |
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1 green pepper, chopped |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon dried basil |
Directions:
1. Make a stiff dough by mixing Bisquick mix and milk. Press into a lightly greased standard pie pan. 2. Drain tomatoes and spread across dough. 3. Sprinkle with spices. 4. Top with cheese. 5. Spread green pepper pieces across pie. 6. Cook in 375 degree oven until dough sets and sides begin to brown. 7. Slice and serve! |
