Adapted from , this came to the rescue when I was looking for a 30-minute or less pork chop recipe. It's a nice surprise that it's delicious as well! Ingredients:
1 tablespoon oil |
4 boneless pork chops |
2 apples, coarsely chopped (granny smith, mcintosh) |
1 1/2 cups apple cider |
6 ounces stove top stuffing mix, any variety |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. 2. Add chops and cook 4 minutes on each side or until lightly browned. 3. Remove chops from skillet. 4. Add apples, cider and bring to a boil. 5. (Next time, I'll try adding raisins during this step too.) Add stuffing veg/seasoning packet and stuffing crumbs. 6. Stir just to moisten. 7. Top with chops and cover. 8. Cook on low heat 10 minutes or until chops are cooked through. |
