Quick Easy Marble Cake With A Twist |

Everytime I tried a marble cake , it left an after-taste of butter . It was way too much for me , and So I decided to create my own version . The result is a spongy , light , fluffy marble cake which surprisingly took too little effort to make . Ingredients:
150 g white sugar |
3 eggs |
1/2 c mayo |
1 tbsp lemon juice |
1/4 tsp baking pwd |
170 g self raising flour |
50 g hersheys chocolate flavoured syrup |
Directions:
1. Pre heat the oven at 180 deg C . 2. Beat the eggs and sugar until dropping consistency . 3. Add the mayo and juice . 4. Beat on low medium speed until creamy . 5. Add the baking pwd and beat 30 secs. 6. Fold in the flour . 7. Pour into a greased 22 cm pan . 8. Drizzle the chocolate syrup on top and swirl it in . 9. Bake for 20 mins . 10. The cake disappeared as I was seeing it thro the camera lens ........ trying to get a frame of it !!! |
