Ingredients:
2 1/2 lbs lean ground beef |
1 cup onion, chopped |
1 cup green pepper, chopped |
1/2 cup celery |
2 (16 ounce) cans chili beans |
2 (15 ounce) cans tomato paste |
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa |
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
3 beef bouillon cubes, crushed |
2 cups water |
4 teaspoons chili powder |
2 teaspoons dried basil |
1 teaspoon cumin |
1 teaspoon steak sauce |
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder |
salt and pepper |
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. In large soup pot, brown beef, onion, green pepper and celery for 8 minutes. 2. Stir in next 6 ingredients. 3. Mix well. 4. Add seasonings. 5. Bring to a boil. 6. Reduce heat to simmer and and cook uncovered for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. 7. Garnish with the mozzarella cheese. |
