Campbell's Soup takes you back to Nathan's Pier restaurant on Coney Island in New York when these hot dogs topped with spicy sauce and chopped onions went for ten cents each to three for a quarter. Ingredients:
4 frankfurters |
1 tablespoon butter or margarine |
1 can campbell's chili beef soup |
1/3 cup water |
4 frankfurter buns, split and toasted |
chopped onion |
spicy mustard |
relish |
Directions:
1. In a skillet, brown frankfurters in butter. 2. Add soup and water. Heat; stir. place frankfurters in buns; spoon chili over. 3. Garnish with onions, spicy mustard and relish as desired. |
