Quick Chocolate Cherry Bars |

Couldn't be simpler, I whipped it up in 5 minutes, and showered while it baked. Everyone at my bookclub thought I was a genius :) Ingredients:
1 devil's food cake mix |
1 -21 ounce cherry pie filling |
1 teaspoon almond extract |
2 eggs, beaten |
1/4 cup water |
1 (20 ounce) container chocolate fudge frosting |
Directions:
1. 1.Combine almond extract, eggs and water. Stir into cake mix. Gently stir in pie filling. Pour mixture into a greased and floured, 9×13 inch pan.
2. 2.Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes.
3. 3.Cool completely before frosting.
