I came across this recipe in an old Telephone Pioneers of America (Tennessee) cookbook and it looked easy and yummy. It would definitely be a quick recipe for moms with little time! *Try adding some mushrooms when heating the sour cream/soup mixture. Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts |
8 ounces sour cream |
10 3/4 ounces cream of chicken soup |
40 ritz crackers |
1/2 cup butter |
Directions:
1. Boil chicken; tear into small pieces and line bottom of dish. 2. Mix together soup and sour cream; heat just to boiling and pour over chicken. 3. Crumble all crackers over mixture. 4. Melt butter and pour over crackers. 5. Bake about 20 minutes at 350 degrees. |
