Quick Cheese Grits

This is Jenni's submission to the June 2011 Southern themed recipe swap. (This recipe came from the Quaker Oats Quick Grits package.)
Ingredients:
2 cups water
1/2 cup quaker oats quick-cooking grits
4 ounces velveeta cheese, cubed
1 dash garlic powder (optional)
paprika
salt
Directions:
1. Boil water.
2. Stir in grits and return to a boil.
3. Reduce heat to medium-low.
4. Cook 4-5 minutes or until thick, stirring occasionally.
5. Add cheese and garlic powder.
6. Cook 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally until cheese is melted.
7. Add salt.
8. Sprinkle with paprika.
