Quick Breakfast in a Glass |

This old recipe is one of my favorites. Originally from Esther Shank's Mennonite cookbook, I tweaked it just a bit. This recipe predates worries about raw eggs, so you might consider using an egg substitute instead. Ingredients:
1 cup skim milk |
1/2 cup orange juice |
1 egg |
1/4 teaspoon vanilla |
tiny pinch kosher salt |
1 tablespoon sugar (to taste) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large glass and whisk. 2. OR combine all ingredients in a blender and process until frothy. |
