Date and source unknown. I’m not sure about these. Sounds very interesting. Ingredients:
5 cans lima beans |
2 cans tomato soup |
1/2 cup maple syrup |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1 medium white onion, sliced thin |
Directions:
1. Mix soup, brown sugar, mustard and syrup well then set aside. 2. Drain beans in strainer. 3. Place a layer of beans, bacon and onion slices in large baking dish. 4. Repeat layers ending with bacon. 5. Pour in soup mixture and gently spoon along sides of dish to let liquid flow to bottom. 6. Bake covered at 350 for 3 hours. |
