This easy refried bean dip makes for a delicious, healthy appetizer.  Once it's hot, stir in shredded sharp cheddar cheese and cilantro, and serve with your choice of tortilla chips.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup chopped red onion
2 tablespoons bottled salsa
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 (16-ounce) can fat-free refried beans
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 cup (1 ounce) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a small saucepan; cook over medium-low heat 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Add cilantro and cheese, stirring until cheese melts. Serve warm.
