This is a quick, bright tasting side dish, perfect when you just need a little more to fill the plate. Be careful-it may just steal the show! Ingredients:
orzo pasta-however much you want |
fresh basil-about 10-15 leaves |
salt |
parmesan cheese-about 1/4-1/2 c |
1/4 c half and half |
2 t butter |
Directions:
1. 1. Boil salted water. Add orzo pasta and cook until al dente 2. 2. Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan. Add basil and cook for a few minutes. Add half and half and cheese. Stir and let combine. Add to drained pasta and serve! |
