A foolproof fudge that turns out right in any kind of weater Ingredients:
3 1/3 cups sugar |
1 1/3 cups evaporated milk |
1 package (12 ounces_ semisweet chocolate pieces) |
3 cups miniature marshmallows |
1 cup chopped walnuts ( or nut of choice) |
1 cup candied red cherries quartered |
Directions:
1. Line 8x8x2 inch pan with foil; butter foil 2. Combine sugar and milk in medium size saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved and mixture comes to boiling . Boil, stiring constantly, 5 minutes. 3. Remove from heat; beat in chocolate and marsmallows with wooden spoon, Stir until mixture thickens; stir in nuts and cherries. Pour into prepared pan; let stand until cool and firm. 4. Turn out onto a cutting board; remove foil cut fudge into 1 inch squares. Store in tightly covered container. |
