these are quick and easy... they are on my movie night list... the recipe and the photo are from DIY.. Ingredients:
25 breadsticks |
25 strips of bacon |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
2 tsp. cayenne pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. 2. Wrap a strip of bacon around the length of each bread stick.
3. 3. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cayenne pepper until thoroughly mixed.
4. 4. Transfer the mixture to a plate.
5. 5. Roll the bacon wrapped breadsticks in the brown sugar mixture.
6. 6. Place the breadsticks on a cookie sheet (figure C).
7. 7. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the sugar caramelizes and the bacon is crisp.
8. 8. Serve warm.
