I was given this recipe by a friend and I adore it! I put it on EVERYTHING and it is awesome all by itself too...(I know, I'm bad). The sauce will hold for about 2 weeks and can be re-heated in a double boiler or microwave. Read more . If you are going to serve it cold, add another 1/2 cup cream. Enjoy! Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups heavy (whipping) cream |
8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped |
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter |
Directions:
1. Heat the cream in a saucepan over medium heat until the edges begin to bubble. 2. Turn off the heat and add the chocolate. 3. Cover the pan and let sit for 5 minutes. 4. Add the peanut butter and whisk until smooth. 5. Let cool slightly and serve. YAY! 6. **You can cover leftovers and keep in fridge for around 2 weeks.** |
