Easy and delicious bean and cheese dip. Ingredients:
1/4c margarine spread(i use shedd's country crock) |
1 can pinto,black or red kidney beans(16oz) |
2tbs lime juice |
1/4tsp garlic powder |
1tsp chipollte pepper sauce(more or less to taste) |
1/2c shredded cheddar cheese(about 2 oz.) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except cheese in microwave-safe bowl. Microwave covered at high for 2 mins,stirring once halfway through. Mash with fork,then stir in cheese. Microwave additional 30 seconds or till cheese is melted. Garnish,if desired with additional cheese,sour cream and/or salsa and serve with chips. |
