This is a simple basic Quiche from Vicki. The meat can be cooked the previous day to shorten the prep time. Ham or Bacon can be substituted for the Sausage. Ingredients:
4 eggs |
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk (2 small cans) |
1 tablespoon flour |
salt |
pepper |
1 medium onion, cut into large chunks |
1 1/2 cups swiss cheese, cubed |
3/4 lb sausage, cooked & crumbled |
1 pie shell, 9 inch uncooked |
Directions:
1. Mix Eggs, Milk, Flour, Salt & Pepper in blender. 2. Add Onion & Swiss cheese & blend to chop. 3. Sprinkle Meat on uncooked Pie shell. 4. Pour Blended Mixture over Meat. 5. Bake 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes. 6. Let rest 15 minutes before cutting. |
